If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor” (V. 26) NKJV One of the demands of love is a sense of responsibility towards one another. A very sincere definition of love is responsibility. True love is known in willingness to serve each other. Your level of love for a man is determined by the level of commitment you have to his life and destiny. You cannot prove that you love someone without showing a strong level of responsibility to such. This means true love is embedded in serving one another. One of the strong teachings of Jesus to us, as His lover, is that we must be ready to lay down our lives in service to bless others, as He did for us. That is why He said, “He who loves his life shall lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life” (John 12:25). FOR THE GOSPEL 

Luke 5:1-11
Devotional:- “and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men."” (V. 10)


    God made you to be a demonstration of His glory. The reason for this glory is that your life becomes a witness for Him (Matthew 5:16). When anyone is appointed as an ambassador of a kingdom, they see themselves as highly honored. This is because when you represent a kingdom, you are standing in for the king of that kingdom and you are regarded as the king. So it is with each of us that the Lord has sent.

When Jesus met Peter, he was not really doing well in his business. Peter was dazed by the breakthrough he had when Jesus commanded him. While Peter was celebrating the breakthrough, Jesus told him he has been promoted from catching fish to catching men. He was representing his own fishing business before; he is now to represent the business of the King of kings.

Friend, what an honorable office Jesus has put all of us (John 17:18) Don't play with this great privilege. He that sent us is with us to demonstrate His glory through you as you go with signs and wonders (Mark 16:20). And you shall be blessed. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me grace to succeed in my witnessing for you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
