  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. Revelation 5:1-10
Devotional:- “But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."” (V. 5)


    So many today are waiting to see the salvation of the Lord in all areas of their lives. You need to make up your mind to see the glory of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). And you will see it.

In our scripture today, was the case of John the beloved in a revelation. There was no one to take the scroll and open the seal of the scroll in the hand of God. The Bible says Apostle John was weeping and one of the elders in heaven told him-Weep not, the Lamb of God has prevailed to take the Scroll and open its seal.

Friend, Jesus is not just been born to the world but also has prevailed to open the new page of your life and glory. Prepare yourself to see God in a new dimension. As the coming of the Lord is drawing closer, God will yet demonstrate His glory in the life of His children. He will prove His power in that situation of your life. You need to stop weeping. Jesus has prevailed by shedding His blood. His death on the cross is the price for your liberty from sorrow. As you move into the New Year, a new page is opening to your life in Jesus name. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, open a new page of your glory in my life

“YOUR REDEEMER IS MIGHTY. CHEER UP”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
