  YOUR OPPONENTS     1 Peter 5:5-11 DEVOTIONAL:- “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (v. 8). NKJV When a man does not know his opponent, he will be totally ignorant of the way to victory. Most people always make the mistakes taking man as their enemy. As God’s children, we must come to understand that the forces against us are the forces of the devil, though they always use people. God’s word says we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against principalities (they take territorial government), against powers (master spirit), rulers of the darkness of this age and against the spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). These are forces of God that fell with the devil, and their powers were not taken from them (Revelation 12:7-9). Revelation 5:1-10
Devotional:- “But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."” (V. 5)


    So many today are waiting to see the salvation of the Lord in all areas of their lives. You need to make up your mind to see the glory of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). And you will see it.

In our scripture today, was the case of John the beloved in a revelation. There was no one to take the scroll and open the seal of the scroll in the hand of God. The Bible says Apostle John was weeping and one of the elders in heaven told him-Weep not, the Lamb of God has prevailed to take the Scroll and open its seal.

Friend, Jesus is not just been born to the world but also has prevailed to open the new page of your life and glory. Prepare yourself to see God in a new dimension. As the coming of the Lord is drawing closer, God will yet demonstrate His glory in the life of His children. He will prove His power in that situation of your life. You need to stop weeping. Jesus has prevailed by shedding His blood. His death on the cross is the price for your liberty from sorrow. As you move into the New Year, a new page is opening to your life in Jesus name. Peace!

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

ALTERNATIVES II Kings 5:1-15 Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV      It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.
