THE KING IS BORN

THE KING IS BORN Luke 2:1-12 Devotional:- “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” NKJV Today, the whole world has come to accept Jesus Christ as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Even if some people have not given their lives to Him, it is globally accepted that He is a Saviour. All nations today accept the chronological number of years that count “AD”. And the ‘AD’ interprets after the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. And thereby acknowledging that Jesus Christ is Lord and King. But you know, He was born in a manger. He was not born in a palace. This is a great message to everyone who will be great on earth. Christ really had His humble beginning. This was one of the reasons the Jews had a problem accepting Him as king and Saviour (John 19:19-22). They expected the king to be born in a palace. STRENGTH

STRENGTH

Judges 4:12-22
Devotional:- “Then Deborah said to Barak, "Up! For this is the day in which the LORD has delivered Sisera into your hand. Has not the LORD gone out before you?" So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him” (V. 14)

Man becomes encouraged when he is strengthened by a leader or a mentor. We become encouraged whenever we gain strength. This is because strength boosts our ability and makes us hopeful. It is therefore important we know how to gain strength. It is by studying the word of God (Proverbs 24:5). Wherever you hear the word of God, it will penetrates into your soul and drive your emotion to action (Hebrews 4:12).

Deborah spoke the word of God to Barrack and that word encouraged him. By the strength of the word of God, he was able to conquer the enemy. And great victory was given to God’s people that day.

God has already destined you for victory (1 John 5:4). Whatever that is confronting you is not as strong as you are. This is because the great God is in you (1 John 4:4, Romans 8:31). God's word says you can do all things by the strength of Christ in you (Philippians 4:13). Stop that fear, be encouraged and you shall overcome. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to arise in your strength
