MADE TO SERVE GOD 1 Corinthians 3:5-17 Devotional:- “For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building. (V.9 NLT) God put you on earth to make contributions and make a difference with your life. Another purpose of your life is to serve the Lord wherever you are. You are created to add to the earth and not just to take from it. This purpose of your life is called ministry or service. It is very important that you live in this consciousness, you were created to serve God (Ephesians 2:10). Wherever you are either in the school or in the office, be sure you are serving God and fulfilling your purpose.  God saved you to serve Him. Your work, business or academic is also a work and a service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:5-7). God redeemed you to do His holy work everywhere in your life. STRENGTH

STRENGTH

Judges 4:12-22
Devotional:- “Then Deborah said to Barak, "Up! For this is the day in which the LORD has delivered Sisera into your hand. Has not the LORD gone out before you?" So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him” (V. 14)

Man becomes encouraged when he is strengthened by a leader or a mentor. We become encouraged whenever we gain strength. This is because strength boosts our ability and makes us hopeful. It is therefore important we know how to gain strength. It is by studying the word of God (Proverbs 24:5). Wherever you hear the word of God, it will penetrates into your soul and drive your emotion to action (Hebrews 4:12).

Deborah spoke the word of God to Barrack and that word encouraged him. By the strength of the word of God, he was able to conquer the enemy. And great victory was given to God’s people that day.

God has already destined you for victory (1 John 5:4). Whatever that is confronting you is not as strong as you are. This is because the great God is in you (1 John 4:4, Romans 8:31). God's word says you can do all things by the strength of Christ in you (Philippians 4:13). Stop that fear, be encouraged and you shall overcome. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to arise in your strength
