CELEBRATION 2 Chronicles 30:21-27 Devotional:- “So there was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the time of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem” (v.26) NKJV When we make ourselves available for the service of the Lord, we plug our lives into joy. This is because we are actually created to serve the Lord (Revelation 4:11). And when anyone finds himself doing what he is created to do, he finds fulfilment. The children of Israel in the time of Hezekiah, the king, gathered together to celebrate the feast of Passover. This was one of the feasts God commanded. This celebration is an opportunity to serve the Lord. They came together to yield in obedience to God’s instruction, and this produced great joy among them. Some cooking, some cleaning and others involved in other things just to make the feast successful. See, you need to know that you are not just created to go to school, work, earn, build a house, buy cars, have a wife, childre...

RIGHT COMPANY

RIGHT COMPANY

Act 4:18-31
Devotional:- “And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them” (V. 23)

Another beautiful avenue for us to receive the seed of encouragement is by been in the right Company. A company is a group of people you regularly fellowship with. But it becomes a right one when they value celebrate you and among them they always share the words that encourages each other. The company is right because the people there are godly and wisdom focused. In such places, they shared the truth of the word of God and can be supported and corrected when necessary.

The disciples of Jesus were discouraged by the leaders of their nation. They were threatened not to carry out their ministry anymore (Act 4:14-18). But when they returned to their company, they were encouraged.

Friend, stop living alone. You cannot be strong enough to face life alone (Ecclesiastics 4:9-12). You need an encouragement group among the children of God. And coming together will encourage you (Proverb 13:20). They will share with you sincerely and pray with you. This people does not have to be coming to your house regularly or you go to theirs. The purpose is not for material things basically but mutual benefit. God will always position such around you. Be humble to welcome them. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to find my right company
