WAITING ON THE LORD 2 Samuel 5:1-10 Devotional:- “David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years” (v.4) NKJV One of the good virtues of God we must always appreciate is His faithfulness. God is not a man that will lie; whatever He has said in His word, He is able to do and He shall do. You can always plug yourself into His promises as much as you work in His covenants. I always tell people never to think God’s word is written only to some specific persons we hear or read about in the Bible. The word of God is the standard practice and programme of God. They were only privileged to be the ones to receive the word at their time, but God is still the same, and so is His word. In claiming the word of God, you must learn to be able to patiently wait. People who will retain their joy must add this virtue to their life (Hebrews 6:12). THANKFUL HEART

Luke 17:11-19
Devotional :-“Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?" (V. 18)

    One of the attitudes of encouragement is thankfulness. The reason many don't have a thankful heart is because their expectations is higher than what they are experiencing. They do not appreciate the place of gradual growth or growing by labour (Proverbs 13:11). Most people don't want to climb but jump. God can decide to bless us abundantly but we must thank Him for whatever He is doing in our lives per time.

The ten lepers that came to Jesus were all cleansed by the power of God, but only one out of the ten came back to thank the Lord. Jesus took notice of it and blessed him.

Friend, anytime you are feeling like thanking the Lord, express yourself to Him. Even when you don't see any reasons to do that, yet give Him thanks (1 Thessalonian 5:18). When you have a grateful heart, you will always stay encouraged. We should stop waiting for manna but love to labour to experience His power. If there are expectations yet to be delivered, God isn't at fault, so thank Him for the ones He has done, the one He is doing and you will find courage to receive the coming one. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me a thankful heart.

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
