NEVER FORGOTTEN

NEVER FORGOTTEN Isaiah 49:13-23  Devotional:- “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you” (V. 15) NKJV Delays in some situations of life could sometimes make one feel forgotten. This could make anyone feel neglected and hated. Have you ever been in a situation where everyone was served but you alone were forgotten? This could bring a big embarrassment. But God cannot make such a mistake. Before He began serving, you were the one in His mind. His mind is filled with the memory of your love.  The scripture we read today says, even if a mother forgets to nurse her child, which I think is impossible, God said He cannot forget you. If a woman, for example, is far away from a child which has not been weaned, two of them will not find it easy. The baby will soon be crying, and the mother’s breast will soon be heavy and painful. Friend, God can never forget you. That is why He said He ...

GROWING

 GROWING

Ephesians 4:9-16
Devotional:- “But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head of Christ” (V. 15)

God’s plan and desire is that we grow up. So many Christian today are growing older but not growing up. Many are stocked in perpetual spiritual infancy. This is because they never intend to grow. Spiritual growth is not automatic, it takes intentional commitment. You must want to grow, decide to grow, make an effort and persist in growing. Discipleship is the process of becoming like Christ (Matthew 10:25).

In your spiritual growth, God has a part and you have a part. To be Christ-like you will need to make Christ like choices and depend on the Holy Spirit to help you fulfill those choices. The moment you are ready, you will need to let go of some old routines and develop some new habits. You will need to intentionally change the way you are thinking (Philippians 2:12-13). To work out your salvation with fear and trembling means to take your spiritual growth serious.

It is important to know that to change your life you must change the way you are thinking (Proverbs 4:23). You must deprogram and reprogram a new autopilot mind which help you to think the godly way (Romans 12:2). This is a mental shift call repentance. This mental shift demands you stop thinking immaturely and start thinking like Christ. To think maturely means start focusing on others and not yourself. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, strengthen me to choose to grow.
“CHRISTIAN MATURITY IS THINKING OF OTHERS AS JESUS WILL”
