  RIGHTEOUSNESS 2 Corinthians 5:14-21  Devotional:- “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (V. 21) NKJV It is because of the love of God that we are called the people of God today (Romans 9:25). This has created an eternal problem for the devil. In the Old Testament, many people tried to please God, but they were not able, and this brought destruction upon them. The Bible mentioned that Jesus, when He died, went to hell to free the saints (1 Peter 3:19). These are men who had lived all their lives to obey the law, yet were not able to reach the mark of righteousness. Today, the righteousness they were not able to attain, we have effortlessly attained. This is not because we are better than they were, but because we are children born in due season. PRAYER AND FASTING

MATTHEW 17:14-21
DEVOTIONAL: “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting" (Vs. 21)

    It is very important as a child of God, that you understand the power of prayer and fasting. Religiously, people always mistake fasting for power and it is not. They are only part of the manifestation of the power of God. Fasting is an act of separating oneself to seek God. This separation could be from the public, one’s regular business or from food which is the most common. 
    Separating oneself from the pleasures of the world to seek the Lord is a tool to answered prayers. If you’ve been asking the Lord for something for a while, just create time to be with Him alone, then your answer will come. People need to know that when they deny themselves of things, they must be willing to obey God to give them out, this is also a sense of fasting (Isaiah 58:6-8).

    In our Scripture for today, Jesus told His disciples that they needed prayer and fasting to ascend the realm of the supernatural. It is when you regularly separate yourself to be with the Lord that you will reflect His glory and power (2 Cor. 3:18, Exodus 34:29-30). If you grow the habits of separating yourself in fasting to be with the Lord and you always obey the Lord in all situations, then the enemy will always submit to you in Jesus’ name (James 4:6-7). Prayer and fasting makes you swim in divine revelations and divine ideas (Isaiah 58:6-8). Your doors will be opened from now in Jesus’ name. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to regularly wait on you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
