  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. PRAYER AND FASTING

MATTHEW 17:14-21
DEVOTIONAL: “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting" (Vs. 21)

    It is very important as a child of God, that you understand the power of prayer and fasting. Religiously, people always mistake fasting for power and it is not. They are only part of the manifestation of the power of God. Fasting is an act of separating oneself to seek God. This separation could be from the public, one’s regular business or from food which is the most common. 
    Separating oneself from the pleasures of the world to seek the Lord is a tool to answered prayers. If you’ve been asking the Lord for something for a while, just create time to be with Him alone, then your answer will come. People need to know that when they deny themselves of things, they must be willing to obey God to give them out, this is also a sense of fasting (Isaiah 58:6-8).

    In our Scripture for today, Jesus told His disciples that they needed prayer and fasting to ascend the realm of the supernatural. It is when you regularly separate yourself to be with the Lord that you will reflect His glory and power (2 Cor. 3:18, Exodus 34:29-30). If you grow the habits of separating yourself in fasting to be with the Lord and you always obey the Lord in all situations, then the enemy will always submit to you in Jesus’ name (James 4:6-7). Prayer and fasting makes you swim in divine revelations and divine ideas (Isaiah 58:6-8). Your doors will be opened from now in Jesus’ name. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to regularly wait on you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
