  MANDATE OF VICTORY Joshua 1:1-6 Devotional:- “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you” (V. 5) NKJV God has no plan or programme of failure or defeat for you. He made all things available for your victory. Many of us have not come to an awareness that we are not here on our own. We are here for God. You are created by God. Packaged and sent to this world to manifest for Him (Isaiah 43:21). So God has a lion's share in your failure if you fail and vis-à-vis if you succeed. So if you fail, He is not happy. He knows that you are going to face some forces that will challenge your life. This could be in the school, office, and in society. But He has written a decree of your victory before you begin the battle. So for a Christian, the battle of life is fixed. PRAYER AND FASTING

MATTHEW 17:14-21
DEVOTIONAL: “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting" (Vs. 21)

    It is very important as a child of God, that you understand the power of prayer and fasting. Religiously, people always mistake fasting for power and it is not. They are only part of the manifestation of the power of God. Fasting is an act of separating oneself to seek God. This separation could be from the public, one’s regular business or from food which is the most common. 
    Separating oneself from the pleasures of the world to seek the Lord is a tool to answered prayers. If you’ve been asking the Lord for something for a while, just create time to be with Him alone, then your answer will come. People need to know that when they deny themselves of things, they must be willing to obey God to give them out, this is also a sense of fasting (Isaiah 58:6-8).

    In our Scripture for today, Jesus told His disciples that they needed prayer and fasting to ascend the realm of the supernatural. It is when you regularly separate yourself to be with the Lord that you will reflect His glory and power (2 Cor. 3:18, Exodus 34:29-30). If you grow the habits of separating yourself in fasting to be with the Lord and you always obey the Lord in all situations, then the enemy will always submit to you in Jesus’ name (James 4:6-7). Prayer and fasting makes you swim in divine revelations and divine ideas (Isaiah 58:6-8). Your doors will be opened from now in Jesus’ name. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to regularly wait on you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
