SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). 1 JOHN 5:14-17
DEVOTIONAL: -“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (Vs.14)

 Having looked at some causes of unanswered prayers in the kingdom of God, a major solution is that, we must pray according to the will of God. Praying contrary to the will of God is asking God to break His rules so as to answer our prayers. The Bible says that God honours His words more than His names (Psalm 138:2). So, please don’t ask God for something contrary to His will for you because He will not answer.
    The will of God is His covenant word that contains His plans and practices. The will of God is the written word sealed by the blood of Jesus as our heritage through Christ Jesus. The will of God is what God has promised to do for us in His word as His children. To ask God to break His rule is to make Him commit sin which He will never do (Psalm 89:34).

    To ask according to God's will, is to first locate His promises for us in the Bible. Having done that, we can then present our requests to Him in prayers (Isaiah 41:21). Whenever we ask according to His will, He will hear and answer us. Learn to take advantage of this knowledge and your prayers will always be answered. Peace!

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
