  FORMED FOR GODS FAMILY Hebrews 2:5-18 Devotional:- “For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (V. 10) The second major purpose of your creation is that you are formed for Gods family (1 John 3:1) God wants a family and he wanted you to be a part of it. The entire bible is full of the story of God building a family that will love him, honor and reign with him forever (Ephesians 1:5) NLT. God is love, so he cherish relationship (1 John 4:7-8). The nature of God is relational and that is why He identifies himself in fatherly terms; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When we turn to the Lord and give our lives to Jesus Christ, God becomes or Father we become His children, other believers become our brothers and sisters and the church becomes our spiritual family. IN HIS NAME

PHILIPPIANS 2:5-11
DEVOTIONAL: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth” (Vs.10)


    Jesus said that whatever we ask in His name shall be given to us (John 14: 13-14, John 16:23). Why do we need to use His name in our prayers? We need to use it because everything has a name and an answer to it. The Bible tells us that the name of Jesus is the name that commands answers in the realm of the Spirit.
    In our Scripture for today, we see the process by which Jesus received power in His name. He humbled Himself, even to the point of death. He sacrificed His life for the redemption of man. So, God gave Him a name that is above all other names. When you mention the name “Jesus”, all other powers flee. In His name, God also gives us answers to our prayers. 

    Friend, you will be wise to queue behind the name of Jesus for your prayers to be powerful and effective. This name has become the name of the power of God. In it, we can release the authority of God in prayers, release the angels of God to work in our favor and put the devil on his knees. We can also command healing and success through this matchless name of Jesus (Mark 16: 17-20). As you use this name, the devil will no longer stay around your life and family. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, let your name answer for me always.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
