  A SINGING HEART Ephesians 5:10-20 Devotional:- “speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,” (v.19) NKJV Singing always, to some people, is equal to madness. Some believe that if you see a man who has never had a time of sorrow, then he is not a man. According to them, life must have ups and downs. But do you know that God want to simply make your days full of joy and void of sorrow. That is why Christ came to carry our sorrows away. If He has come to carry our sorrow away, then it is wrong to expect yourself to still be living in what is no more available (Isaiah 53:4). What the bible is teaching us today is contrary to what men will teach. God’s word wants us to always sing and be joyful. That is why God’s word says; rejoice in the Lord always and not sometimes (Philippians 4:4). SURRENDER TO GOD             

Romans 12:1-8
Devotional:-“And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him” (V. 1) NLT



    Praises is an act of surrendering to God. When people surrender in battle, they hands up. That is why we lift up our hands when we are praising God. It's a pity people do that today without knowing the meaning neither do they mean that (Psalms 63:4; 134:2). Lifting up of hands means to surrender to an authority recognized as superior.


    The word of God asks us to surrender our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. The word of God says this is the true way to worship God (Romans 12:1)NLT. So, it means worship and praises will not be sincere if we don't first surrender. People who worship without surrendering are known as pretenders. Their heart is not true. Their intention is corrupt (Mark 7:6). But this is what most people do often. They lift up hands in the place of worship but they disobey God at will.

    Friend, the time has come to make up your mind to surrender to God. Give yourself sincerely as a living sacrifice to God. This means you have to be dead to self, but alive to God (Romans 6:1-6). Self is the mentality we have grown up with in our culture and tradition that is contrary to the will of God (Romans 12:2). The Bible says, we should unlearn those things. To be dead to self means to be separated from the lifestyle that is contrary to the word of God. This is what it means to be praiseful. This is what it means to be obedience to God and live in righteousness. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to truly surrender to you

“LIVING IN OBEDIENCE IS THE SIGN OF TRUE SURRENDER”

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
