  MADE TO SERVE GOD 1 Corinthians 3:5-17 Devotional:- “For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building. (V.9 NLT) God put you on earth to make contributions and make a difference with your life. Another purpose of your life is to serve the Lord wherever you are. You are created to add to the earth and not just to take from it. This purpose of your life is called ministry or service. It is very important that you live in this consciousness, you were created to serve God (Ephesians 2:10). Wherever you are either in the school or in the office, be sure you are serving God and fulfilling your purpose.  God saved you to serve Him. Your work, business or academic is also a work and a service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:5-7). God redeemed you to do His holy work everywhere in your life. OBEY THE LORD                  

1 John 3:1-5
Devotional -“And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure” (V. 3)



   The act of obedience to God is an act of love and the act of love is an act of worship. A child that is always obeying the parents enjoy the favour of the parents. So, also as we obey the Lord in all that we do we gain the favour of God (Psalms 5:12). So, singing songs of praises to God while we are disobeying Him is not worship.


  The word of God says, if you love me, you will obey my commandments (John 14:15). The word of God says, this is the love of God, that we keep His commandment. The importance of we keeping His commandment is that He guides us into His way of favour and we willingly follow Him to our blessings (Isaiah 48:17). The instructions of the Lord is for our good (Isaiah 1:19). The challenge with man is that the devil often wants him to feel that the way of God is not pleasurable.

   Friend, we need to ask for the grace of God to help us to always obey the instructions of the Lord. This is love and this is faith. Every moment of our lives, we should allow the Holy Spirit to guide us (Proverbs 3:5-6). We should not put God’s instructions aside. He knows more than we do and He can lead us to success. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always obey you in all my ways.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
