  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. SAVED FOR PRAISES             

1 Peter 2:4-10
Devotional -“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (V. 9)
    God saved us that we might live a praiseful life. This is because, that is how He can be part of what we are doing to fulfill our assignments on earth. If God is not part of what we are doing, then the enemy is bound to see the loopholes to have his way. That way, he has hindered many from fulfilling their destiny. You will fulfill your destiny in Jesus name.

     The word of God talked about the greatness of our destiny. In our destiny, God sees us as a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation and His own special people. The purpose of it all is that our lives might bring praises to His name. It is when our life brings praises to the name of God, that God is perfecting His plan in the world. It is therefore important that we allow the Holy Spirit to make us vessels of His praises.

    When Jesus says God is looking for those who will worship Him, He is simply looking for those who will open up to Him through praises and He can work through them. So, make up your mind to make God glad. This is by opening up to Him in praise (Revelation 3:20). That will give Him the permission to join with you in your journey. And your life will at last result to testimonies. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let my life be for your praises.

“A PRAISEFUL BELIEVER WILL ALWAYS JOURNEY WITH GOD”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
