DON'T HATE

DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. SAVED FOR PRAISES

SAVED FOR PRAISES

1 Peter 2:4-10
Devotional -“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (V. 9)

God saved us that we might live a praiseful life. This is because, that is how He can be part of what we are doing to fulfill our assignments on earth. If God is not part of what we are doing, then the enemy is bound to see the loopholes to have his way. That way, he has hindered many from fulfilling their destiny. You will fulfill your destiny in Jesus name.

The word of God talked about the greatness of our destiny. In our destiny, God sees us as a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation and His own special people. The purpose of it all is that our lives might bring praises to His name. It is when our life brings praises to the name of God, that God is perfecting His plan in the world. It is therefore important that we allow the Holy Spirit to make us vessels of His praises.

When Jesus says God is looking for those who will worship Him, He is simply looking for those who will open up to Him through praises and He can work through them. So, make up your mind to make God glad. This is by opening up to Him in praise (Revelation 3:20). That will give Him the permission to join with you in your journey. And your life will at last result to testimonies. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let my life be for your praises.

“A PRAISEFUL BELIEVER WILL ALWAYS JOURNEY WITH GOD”
