SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). Proverbs 15:10-15
Devotional: -“A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken” (V. 13)



 

    It is always said that beauty is in the eyes of those that sees it. This means, when you have a beautiful heart, you will have a beautiful eye. And when you have beautiful eyes you will see beauty in every one that you see. But most men don't see beauty in others. This is because of how they are.


   The word of God tells us how we can build a beautiful heart, a beautiful eyes and a beautiful face. This is by keeping a merry heart and this come through praise. The word of God says the state of the heart of people determines the state of their look or their beauty (Proverbs 23:7). That is why I am encouraging you to choose to be a praiseful believer. It will enlist you among the beautiful.

   Praise produces beauty better than powder and all the manicure etc. Anytime you are going out, don't ever forget to praise God before you go out. Always put praises in your bag as you go out. There are many people out there with a bitter heart. Don't let them contaminate you with sorrow. When you hear information of sorrow, quickly bring out your praises and continue your beauty. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me to overcome the spirit of sorrow with praises.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
