PRESENCE OF GOD  Psalm 16:5-11 Devotional:- “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (v.11) NKJV As good as joy is, one of the greatest tasks of joy is sustaining it. So the world always finds it difficult to sustain. Many cannot even experience it for more than two hours per week. This is because they have not located the source of joy. As a believer, you need to know that joy is a product of the presence of God. Wherever God’s presence is, our scripture today says joy will fill the place. It means the oxygen and the hydrogen of the atmosphere of God are joy. So you cannot be in His presence and not know joy. No wonder David said he is always glad when it is time to go to the house of the Lord. (Psalm 122:1). To experience the presence of the Lord, you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and then His presence will be within you. You also need to believe that He is with you according to His word. LOVE HIM SUPREMELY           

Matthew 22:34-40
Devotional -“Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'”’ (V. 37)



    For us to be able to worship God effectively demands that we love Him supremely. To love God supremely means, He is higher than all men and all things in your life. Praise goes beyond singing or playing instruments. It goes beyond dancing and clapping of hands. It spring right from our heart. So, the state of our heart is so vital, if our praises will be acceptable to God. That is why Jesus said, we must worship God in spirit and truth (John 4:24).

    The word of God says, we should love God with all our heart, our soul and with our entire mind. Then, we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. God’s love must be vertical and that of man horizontal. So, the love of God in our heart must be different from the dimension at which we love men. It must be far greater than it all. To love Him supremely means you are willing to drop human offer to obey and praise Him. 

     The level we place God in our heart determines the state of our heart in worship. Our praises must be from a heart of true love. We are commanded to love Him and allow His love to determine our thinking, our decisions and our actions. This is the true act of praises. In this, our praises can be strong enough to bring God into our situations. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, plant the seed of your love in my heart.

“LOVE IS THE FOUNDATION FOR TRUE WORSHIP”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
