  JOYFUL COMPANION  Luke 1:37-45 Devotional:- “For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy” (v.44) NKJV We must know that sooner or later, we will always look like the people we are moving with. God’s word says, he that walks with the wise shall be wise and the companion of fools shall be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). This means that what we gain from the surroundings of our associates has a very strong influence upon our life. If a man walks with people who don’t know or appreciate joy, he may not also experience joy. We read about the visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Since two of them carry unique children of divine significance, they both have the Spirit of God in them. This brings about a joyful effect. WRONG FEELINGS   

Mark 5:25-34
Devotional verse: [29] Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction (v. 29).


    One of the instruments the devil uses so much against the strength of many is our feelings. God’s word says, my people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). The woman we read about today experienced positive feelings after she received her miracles. Most people are always having negative feelings.
    Our feelings are the function of the sensitivity of our body. It is an attempt made to communicate or suggest information to our mind. Feelings happen because something is moving around us and we can feel it. But, that does not mean it has entered us. The moment we confess it, the door is open for it to enter our mind and in turn enters our life (Proverbs 23:7).

    This is one of the tricks of the devil to appeal to our body to accept sickness. God created the ability to feel in us to inform us of the activities around us.  But the enemy always want to trick us into using that blessing wrongly. For the fact that you have a feeling, doesn’t mean you should be declaring negatively. The essence of the feelings is for you to take a positive step. You may need to take time to rest or to take care of yourself. Don’t ever confess evil over your life because of a feeling. Always confess the word of God and your health will always be good (Hebrews 3:1). Peace!

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
