  BECOMING LIKE CHRIST Romans 8:18-30 Devotional:- “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His son, that He might be the first born among many brethren” (V. 29) The third purpose of your life is to become like Christ. From the very beginning God intend to make man to be like Himself (Gen 1:26). So like God, we are made a spirit and our spirit lives the body. We are intellectual, we can think and solve problems. We are relational, i.e. we can give and receive love. We also have a moral conscience to discern right from wrong which make us accountable to God. God’s ultimate goal for you on earth is not comfort but character. He wants you to grow up and become like Christ. This does not mean losing your personality. Christlikeness is all about transforming your character and not your personality. Every time you forget that character development is the reason you are here you frustrate yourself. WRONG FEELINGS   

Mark 5:25-34
Devotional verse: [29] Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction (v. 29).


    One of the instruments the devil uses so much against the strength of many is our feelings. God’s word says, my people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). The woman we read about today experienced positive feelings after she received her miracles. Most people are always having negative feelings.
    Our feelings are the function of the sensitivity of our body. It is an attempt made to communicate or suggest information to our mind. Feelings happen because something is moving around us and we can feel it. But, that does not mean it has entered us. The moment we confess it, the door is open for it to enter our mind and in turn enters our life (Proverbs 23:7).

    This is one of the tricks of the devil to appeal to our body to accept sickness. God created the ability to feel in us to inform us of the activities around us.  But the enemy always want to trick us into using that blessing wrongly. For the fact that you have a feeling, doesn’t mean you should be declaring negatively. The essence of the feelings is for you to take a positive step. You may need to take time to rest or to take care of yourself. Don’t ever confess evil over your life because of a feeling. Always confess the word of God and your health will always be good (Hebrews 3:1). Peace!

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
