PROTECT YOUR HEART Proverbs 4:20-27 Devotional:- “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (V. 23) NLT Everyone is born with a strength capable of rising to greatness. In every growing child is a seed of greatness. It is this strength that makes the youth so creative and energetic. That is why each young person looks at the future with great hope. The enemy tries to destroy this strength. As strong as many started in life, not many could strike the chord of success because their strength was destroyed.

RIGHT COMPANY
Act 4:23-31
Devotional verse: “And being let go, they went to their own companions, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them” (v. 23).
All of us need right people around us. Someone said, count seven closest people to you, and then check their lives; you are looking at your future. The effect of right company around us is that, they influence us to do right thing and they join us to war against wrong things that are confronting us.
In our scriptures for today, the disciples were faced with persecution, they were even flogged and threatened not to preach in the name of Jesus any more. After letting them go, the bible says, they returned to their company. The company joined faith with them as they prayed. There they received new strength to continue in the work God has given to them.
The right company are people of the same faith with you, and you can always find encouragement among them. This is among the people you always spend time to pray together and strengthens each other in faith. That way it will be difficult for the enemy to break you down. And you will keep winning. Peace!
Prayer: Lord, surround me with right people in life.
“YOU CANNOT BE MUCH BETTER THAN THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU”
THE GRACIOUS Exodus 34:1-8 Devotional:- “…The Lord, the Lord a God merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundance in goodness and truth” (V.6) AMPL For believers of this Generation to have the fullness of heaven as the word of God promised, they will need to have the right understanding of who our God is. It is the wrong concept of God that has limited the exploitation of Christians and made many lives wrongly. God’s word says those who know their God shall be strong (Daniel 11:32). If you will be stronger than your challenges you must know your God.
ONLY THE VICTORS Revelation 21:1-8 Devotional:- “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son” (v. 7) NKJV In this part of the world, many are not so used to taking responsibility over challenges. Instead of been proactive to foresee and prevent issues, people are used to looking out for whom to blame and who should help out (Proverbs 14:23). It is vivid that we are in a challenging season. It is also clear that we are drawing closer to the end of the age.
ALTERNATIVES II Kings 5:1-15 Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.
