  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. FAITH

Act 3:11-21
Devotional verse: “And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know: Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all” (V. 16).


    A man of faith operates in the power of God. Faith is the act of stepping out to confront your situation according to the revelation of the word of God. Faith is not just an assertion of your acceptance of the word, it is far more than that. Without faith it will be impossible for anyone to resist the devil (1 Peter 5:9).

    In the scripture we read today, Peter said, faith in the name of Jesus has healed the lame man (Act 3:16). Faith becomes active in a man when the spirit of the word of God has come into him. (John 10:34-35). The Spirit of the word of God makes of a quick understanding (Isaiah 11:3). It makes you convinced beyond reasonable doubt that you have the right to resist the devil. (James 5:15).

    If a man will therefore enjoy divine healing, he/she must seek to receive faith from the word of God. This happens as we study and meditate in the word of God (Romans 10:17). This is when the devil will be two small to wait for you. Then you know that your hand carries the life and the blood of Jesus and whoever you lay it on shall be healed (Mark 16:17-18). Arise and be healed in Jesus name.

Prayer: Lord, release the spirit of faith into me for my healing.

“FAITH IS THE FORCE OF GOD IN ACTION IN A MAN”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
