JOY

JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

THE SECRET PLACE

THE SECRET PLACE

Psalm 91:1-16
Devotional:-“No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling” (v. 10)

A major tragedy in the world today is that of sicknesses. This is actually a part of the prophecy for the end time. The word of God reveals to us that perilous time shall come (2 Timothy 3:1). We all can testify to it that the perilous time has come. As much there is an agenda of difficult time for the world, but there is better plan of God for His own people (Jeremiah 29:11). That is why you must not submit yourself to the happening of this world.
The word of God reveals to us that God has prepare in this time to heal and to take care of His own people (Isaiah 53:4-5). It is therefore important that we believe in His divine provision for our healing. Why the Egyptians were going through a terrible time, the Israelites were protected in the land of Egypt (Exodus 8:23). God said He will not allow the diseases He put on the Egyptians to come on the Israelites because He is their healer (Exodus 15:26). That is why you must dwell in the secret place of the Most-high to enjoy the divine healing for the end time (Psalm 91:1).

To dwell in the secret place is to keep your private personal time with Jesus. It is to keep your consistent fellowship with the word of God to keep growing in faith (Romans 10:17). Divine healing is by faith. To dwell in the secret place is to remain in close contact with the power of resurrection (Romans 8:11). This is the reason you must be in consistent fellowship with other believers to remain in strength (Psalm 84:7). By this the Lord will keep you and your family in sound health to the end in Jesus name. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to abide in your secret place to the end
