  KINDNESS Hebrews 13:1-9 Devotional:- “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels” (v.2) NKJV The season we are in is a season of strangers, and close friends will come to locate you. You will find many in need of your assistance. God’s words teach us to be of assistance to such people. Even though we live in a very dangerous and delicate world, where so many unbelievable atrocities have been committed. Yet it does not mean we should completely neglect the instruction of this part of the scripture. We only need to obey God with wisdom. We are not to turn people away sharply; we only need to learn to discern what kind of people are coming around us. We also need to be wise not to disclose or open our hidden places to strangers. WRONG ASSOCIATION  

1 Corinthians 15:29-34
Devotional thought:- “Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits” (V. 33).


  Understanding the role that information is playing in our lives will inform us of the danger of wrong association. These are places you go to relate as social being. The truth is that we cannot but relate. That is an aspect of God we always demonstrate. When we are relating, we unconsciously picking things from one and other. That is why you are a product of your relationship.
 Our scriptures today said, he that walks with evil people will corrupt himself unknowingly. This is because evil people will be communicating evil information (Matthew 12:34). God’s word says, just by staying in a right company, a man will prosper and it will be the opposite with evil company (Psalms 1:1-3).

  This therefore call for the wisdom of you selecting who you should relate with. You need to consciously choose your friends (Proverbs 12:26). Relationship is not by force. Have you observed a married couple looking alike with time? So also everyone you keep company with. Don’t let people transfer wrong thing to your heart. Check your association. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to be separated from wrong association.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
