TIME OF JOY Philippians 4:1-7 Devotional:- “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again l say, rejoice.” (V. 4) KJV One of the most important and most needed virtues of life is joy. When joy is not in place, many things may not be in place. It is joy that eases a man off the tension of life. It is joy that puts men always in health (Proverbs 17:22). It is joy that destroys our doubt. It is the joy in the Lord that increases our faith. It is joy that refreshes our minds and gives us mental richness. There are many more things that joy does in our lives, yet it looks so scarce in the lives of many. This is because there are not many pleasant situations that will help them rejoice. But you, as a believer, should know that you cannot afford to live in sorrow, for without joy, life will be totally in shambles. WRONG ASSOCIATION  

1 Corinthians 15:29-34
Devotional thought:- “Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits” (V. 33).


  Understanding the role that information is playing in our lives will inform us of the danger of wrong association. These are places you go to relate as social being. The truth is that we cannot but relate. That is an aspect of God we always demonstrate. When we are relating, we unconsciously picking things from one and other. That is why you are a product of your relationship.
 Our scriptures today said, he that walks with evil people will corrupt himself unknowingly. This is because evil people will be communicating evil information (Matthew 12:34). God’s word says, just by staying in a right company, a man will prosper and it will be the opposite with evil company (Psalms 1:1-3).

  This therefore call for the wisdom of you selecting who you should relate with. You need to consciously choose your friends (Proverbs 12:26). Relationship is not by force. Have you observed a married couple looking alike with time? So also everyone you keep company with. Don’t let people transfer wrong thing to your heart. Check your association. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to be separated from wrong association.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
