  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). WRONG ASSOCIATION  

1 Corinthians 15:29-34
Devotional thought:- “Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits” (V. 33).


  Understanding the role that information is playing in our lives will inform us of the danger of wrong association. These are places you go to relate as social being. The truth is that we cannot but relate. That is an aspect of God we always demonstrate. When we are relating, we unconsciously picking things from one and other. That is why you are a product of your relationship.
 Our scriptures today said, he that walks with evil people will corrupt himself unknowingly. This is because evil people will be communicating evil information (Matthew 12:34). God’s word says, just by staying in a right company, a man will prosper and it will be the opposite with evil company (Psalms 1:1-3).

  This therefore call for the wisdom of you selecting who you should relate with. You need to consciously choose your friends (Proverbs 12:26). Relationship is not by force. Have you observed a married couple looking alike with time? So also everyone you keep company with. Don’t let people transfer wrong thing to your heart. Check your association. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to be separated from wrong association.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
