  FORMED FOR GODS FAMILY Hebrews 2:5-18 Devotional:- “For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (V. 10) The second major purpose of your creation is that you are formed for Gods family (1 John 3:1) God wants a family and he wanted you to be a part of it. The entire bible is full of the story of God building a family that will love him, honor and reign with him forever (Ephesians 1:5) NLT. God is love, so he cherish relationship (1 John 4:7-8). The nature of God is relational and that is why He identifies himself in fatherly terms; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When we turn to the Lord and give our lives to Jesus Christ, God becomes or Father we become His children, other believers become our brothers and sisters and the church becomes our spiritual family. WRONG ASSOCIATION  

1 Corinthians 15:29-34
Devotional thought:- “Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits” (V. 33).


  Understanding the role that information is playing in our lives will inform us of the danger of wrong association. These are places you go to relate as social being. The truth is that we cannot but relate. That is an aspect of God we always demonstrate. When we are relating, we unconsciously picking things from one and other. That is why you are a product of your relationship.
 Our scriptures today said, he that walks with evil people will corrupt himself unknowingly. This is because evil people will be communicating evil information (Matthew 12:34). God’s word says, just by staying in a right company, a man will prosper and it will be the opposite with evil company (Psalms 1:1-3).

  This therefore call for the wisdom of you selecting who you should relate with. You need to consciously choose your friends (Proverbs 12:26). Relationship is not by force. Have you observed a married couple looking alike with time? So also everyone you keep company with. Don’t let people transfer wrong thing to your heart. Check your association. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to be separated from wrong association.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
