PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. But God is not like man. He will fulfill all that He ha...

THE WORK OF THE CROSS

THE WORK OF THE CROSS

Isaiah 53:1-12
Devotional Verse: “But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and by His stripes we are healed” (V. 5).

It’s important you understand that this world is built to follow the law of the spirit. (Isaiah 46:10). Whatever is written in the word of God is the law of the spirit and life (John 6:63, Romans 8:2). The devil is always a deceiver and a liar (John 8:44). Though it was the curse that was put on Adam and Eve that brought the spirit of sickness, the devil has been doing so much to persist by inflicting people with the punishment of that curse even when God forgives (Genesis 3:15-16).
This is the reason Jesus came to pay for our punishment (Isaiah 53:4-5). That is why you must not believe in sickness any more. The devil has no right to put sickness on you except you allow him. The word of God tells us to resist it (James 4:7). Jesus was stripes that you may be free from sicknesses. Jesus having stand in your place, you have been set free (John 8:36).

This is what Jesus came to do (Luke 4:18-19). The power of sickness has therefore been destroyed (1 John 3:8). To put on you what Jesus has taken away will be wrong. So learn to cast the devil out. He is the author of pain. You know a true believer by his/her non willingness to accommodate the devil and his works (Mark 16:17-18). And you shall be free. The root of any affliction on you is hereby destroy in Jesus name. Peace!

Declaration: There is no room for sickness in my body any more in Jesus name.
